Data Protection Notice

This notice explains personal data that may be processed through Efody services, why it is used, how it is protected and how people can make a request. Rights and responsibilities depend on the service and the data protection rules that apply to the activity.

Responsible parties and data

Account and business data may include restaurant, contact and account details. Order data may include customer contact and delivery details, cart and order information, and payment status. For a restaurant order, the restaurant may be responsible for guest data used to fulfil that order; Efody may be responsible for its own account, software, security and support processing. The responsible party depends on the specific processing activity.

Purposes and grounds for use

Data are used to create and manage accounts, route orders to the relevant restaurant, provide the service and support, protect security and keep necessary business records. Each use must rely on a ground permitted by the rules that apply to that activity and, where required, the person's clear choice.

Sharing and retention

Data needed to run the service may be shared with Supabase infrastructure and, for card payments, the selected payment provider. Address and order details are stored in Efody's database to fulfil the order; retention depends on the service purpose and applicable record-keeping requirements. Each service provider has its own privacy and use terms.

Rights and requests

Depending on where you are and which rules apply to the processing, you may have rights to access your data, correct inaccurate details, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, receive a portable copy, or withdraw a choice where processing relies on consent. Send requests to the relevant controller using the contact details on the Provider Information page. You may also contact a competent data protection authority.
